This particular configuration is supplied with the following 3 principle components:

• TV3050 0.5X C-Mount camera/TV lens module
• TZM0880D 10:1 zoom ratio 0.8X-8X zoom body module with detents
• W3100 Auxiliary Monozoom Objective (this determines the working distance - 86mm)

With monozoom microscopes it is rather misleading to talk in terms of magnifications when comparing with a conventional microscope because it refers only to primary lens magnifications .  There is no eyepiece so the magnifications stated are not really useful.   This is because a series of lenses are being assembled to work together and then have the added influence of the camera projection (which varies according to the sensor size) and the varying sizes of display monitor  The actual, conventionally defined magnifications in microscopy terms are VERY much higher, typically 10 to 100 higher than stated. 
For this reason is is far more sensible and meaningful to describe the width of the field of view on the subject under examination which will be projected to the camera.  We strongly recommend you use these values and the required working distances to make your selection of the optics required to encompass what you need to see.

​With alternative (optional) camera/TV lens modules and alternative (optional) auxiliary monozoom objectives attached to the main zoom body the following can be achieved:
This magnification range can be increased to encompass 0.2X to 8X and the working distances increased to 174mm.  Field of view diameters: 1.28mm-30mm

With alternative (optional) camera/TV lens modules and alternative (optional) MPLAN APO and MPLAN objectives attached to the main zoom body the following can be achieved:
This magnification range can be increased to encompass 1X to 200X with much shorter working distances. Field of view diameters: 0.01mm-1mm

The Naming of TZM0880 Series MZO

We have a special naming format for TZM0880 series MZO, we name TZM0880 series products with a series module code, which is a combination of code of different modules and connected with crossbar “-” to form a comprehensive naming. With this paradigm, user can understand the meaning and function briefly. For example, if a MZO is composed of Middle Zoom Module TZM0880D, Auxiliary Lens W3100(1.00x), TV Lens TV3050(0.5x) and 50mm Bracket Adapter A50, the final MZO can be expressed as:

How to Configure TZM0880 Series MZO

The corresponding parameters of TZM0880 series MZO are listed in Table below. A specific combination can be determined according to the following steps.

1. Confirm the possible range of 1) FOV and 2) Working Distance in the object space to choose the Auxiliary Lens.
2. Choose the M26x0.705 to M20x0.705 Objective Adapter, if the M20x0.705 infinity objective is used.
3. Confirm the camera Image Area Size, it can be 1) Sensor Size (1/x in inch), 2) Image Diagonal Length, 3) Image Width or 4) Image Height to choose the right TV Lens.
4. Choose the 45mm or 50 mm adapter according to the diameter of the bracket hole diameter .
5. Choose the LED Direct Ring Light Module for the reflective illumination.
6. Choose the Coaxial Light Module if coaxial illumination is required.
7. Choose the Transmissive Light Module if transmissive illumination is required.
8. Choose the Camera Module.
